Police reports, Sept. 1 Friday Sep 2, 2016 at 12:01 PM Sep 2, 2016 at 12:01 PM Local reports Thursday, 8:30 a.m. — Police conducted a confidential investigation in the Ashland area. Thursday, 1:23 p.m. — Police cited a man for drinking in public in the 200 block of Water Street. Thursday, 2:22 p.m. — Police cited a man in the first block of Winburn Way for smoking in a prohibited area.  Thursday, 2:45 p.m. — Police arrested a man on a warrant at the intersection of North Pioneer Street and Lithia Way. Thursday, 6:14 p.m. — Police cited a man in the first block of Water Street for smoking in a prohibited area. Thursday, 11:44 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a man driving under the influence of intoxicants at Ashland Community Hospital, in the 200 block of Maple Street. The man was arrested and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
