--> --> June 28: Johns claims two more tourney titles Ashland Daily Tidings Ashland's Stephanie Johns continues to collect first place trophies - picking up two more this past week. The 14-year-old golfing champion won the Peter Jacobsen Junior Challenge Golf Tournament Tuesday afternoon and also claimed first in last Friday's Santiam Junior Tournament. In the Jacobsen Tourney, Johns fired a first-round 80 to take a two-stroke lead over Bend's Jessica Black. On Tuesday, Johns shot another 80 and had to hold off Black who carded a 79 to fall one shot short of Johns. At Santiam, Johns came away with an 81, to edge Courtney Sullivan of Portland by a single stroke. Email your...
