Ashland Police & Fire 7:25 p.m. Wednesday - Adult male found too intoxicated to care for self, Ashland Street and Tolman Creek Road. Subject transported to detox. 11:34 a.m. Wednesday - Transient male, 22, cited and released for failure to have his dog on a leash, E. Main and Pioneer streets. 7:40 p.m. Wednesday - Adult male cited for camping at the skateboard park. Wednesday - Citizen complaint received regarding a marijuana grow site was confirmed as a registered grow site for medical marijuana, 300 block Clay Street. Registered caregiver warned regarding lawful number and size of plants allowed. Between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday - Unknown person or persons stole pneumatic staple gun valued at $150 from vehicle, 700 block Laurel Street. Between Sunday and Monday - Locked drawer at coffee shop forced open and $400 cash stolen, 00 block Hersey Street. Jackson County Fire District No. 5 4:20 p.m. Wednesday - Structure fire extinguished, 1,400 block Foss Road, Talent. A shop, a barn, and multiple vehicles damaged beyond recovery. Under investigation. 6 p.m. Wednesday - Tree fire caused by lightning strike extinguished, 500 block Carmen Lane, Talent. 8 p.m. Wednesday - Grass fire caused by lightning strike extinguished, 2000 block Soda Mountain Road.
