The team will hold the car wash to raise funds for repairing and replacing the team's boats, one of which was irreparably damaged this season while the other is due for replacement. La Clinica de Valle, a family health clinic, will have a giving tree by the fountain for donations of unwrapped presents. The Soroptimist Club will have a giving tree for donations of educational books. A classical guitarist will play and coffee, hot chocolate, and pastries will be served. · `THE SACRED AND HUMAN QUEST (I),' a free community lecture series on religion, education, arts and society will conclude with its fourth and final lecture entitled "The Lord of the Rings" at 7 p.m. Sunday at the First Methodist Church, 175 N. Needed items are jackets and clothing, sized small to junior large. Popular toy requests are small remote-control cars and dolls, though any gift, large or small, is appreciated.
