ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 12:22 a.m. Thursday - Police continue to seek the driver of a vehicle in a hit and run incident near 159 California Street that left three vehicles damaged. At the time of the incident, the suspect vehicle hit a parked car, which moved forward, striking another car in front of it. Police report that the driver escaped on foot, while the passenger in the suspect vehicle was taken to detox. Thursday - A gray GT brand mountain bike valued at $500 was reported stolen from the back of a pick-up truck parked near 7th and C Streets sometime between the hours of 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Thursday - Graffiti applied to a building at 151 Gresham. Police report the vandals may have used colored smoke bombs to apply the graffiti. Wednesday or Thursday - A snowboard was reported stolen from 555 Ray Lane between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. Thursday. Valued at $150, the Barfoot brand board is described as 4 foot 10 in length, and sage-green in color. 11:04 a.m. Wednesday - A 35 year-old male transient is reported to have struck another Ashland man in the face near the Ashland Springs Hotel. He was cited and released to circuit court for assault. Wednesday - The Varsity Theatre reported that a cash drawer had been stolen from its concession stand. The drawer was empty of currency at the time of the theft, and had been left open, according to Varsity personnel. Drawer is valued at $100. 11:30 p.m. Tuesday - 23 year old male cited for drinking in public at 37 North Main. 10:52 p.m. Tuesday - DUII, 51 year-old male, at the corner of Siskiyou Blvd. and Palm Streets. 9:26 p.m. Tuesday - A 20-year old was arrested for urinating behind the 7-11 on Siskiyou Blvd. was cited for possession of alcohol. 9:08 p.m. Tuesday - Two juvenile males were cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, as well as a stockpile of beer and liquor at the 1700 block of Tolman Creek.
