Ashland Police and Fire 5:50 a.m. Thursday - Transient male, 54, cited and released for possession of methamphetamine, 1000 block Starlite Place. 5:50 a.m. Thursday - Two transient males, 54 and 25, cited for camping in a van, 1000 block Starlite Place. Van had previously been cited and tagged as abandoned. 12:44 a.m. Thursday - Ashland male, 20, and Ashland female, 20, cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption, Siskiyou Boulevard and Mountain Street. 11:24 p.m. Wednesday - Ashland male, 20, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, subsequent to noise complaint, 700 block Normal Avenue. 11:02 p.m. Wednesday - Ashland male, 19, taken into custody and lodged in Jackson County Jail after being picked up on a warrant at Hawthorne Hall, Southern Oregon University. Warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court on a charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. 11:25 a.m. Wednesday - Complaint of dog tethered to city drip-line lunging at city worker. Dog delivered to ICCA to be returned to owner. Owner to be cited.
