And although Sen. Lenn Hannon, R-Ashland, is not the worst session culprit, he has been marked by the event. Continually, Hannon railed against the Legislature's inability to address the critical budget shortfall that has been visited on the state - that has put Oregon schools in such a precarious quandry - yet when it came down to voting during the sessions, he toed the party line. It was as if he hadn't heard himself talking outside the lawmaking corridors.
