By Local report February 04. 2016 8:06PM Proposed entry sign designs on display Proposed entry signs for Ashland will be available for public view and comment in the classroom at the Ashland Art Center at 375 East Main St. during the First Friday art walk Feb. 5. The First Friday art walk runs from 5 to 8 p.m. the first Friday of each month, the city of Ashland has announced. New entry signs were identified by the Beautification Committee as a needed improvement to Ashland and the City Council asked the Public Art Commission to oversee the project, the city said in a news release. The commission contracted with Eric Warren of Rogue Design Group to develop the concepts and Steve Morgan of Designer Signs will construct the new signs. Warren developed several concepts and the commission has narrowed the options to a specific design for each location with all three designs sharing a cohesive look.
