Posted Mar. 3, 2015 at 4:26 PM » RELATED CONTENT • Police Reports • Police Reports » Social News Monday, 9:02 a.m. — Police took a woman into protective custody on a mental health hold after she was reported to have been displaying odd behavior in the area of Siskiyou Boulevard and Palm Avenue. She was transported to Rogue Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation. Monday, 9:10 a.m. — A man was defrauded out of $648 by a scammer claiming to be a representative of the police department in the 500 block of North Mountain Avenue. Monday, 11:32 a.m. — A 26-year-old man was arrested on charges of third-degree theft and first-degree trespassing after he was suspected of shoplifting from Market of Choice in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. His probation officer additionally issued a detention warrant. Monday, 4:55 p.m. — Police investigated a fraud in the 200 block of Maple Street. Monday, 5:35 p.m. — Police investigated a report of theft by forgery in the first block of Scenic Drive. Monday, 6:11 p.m. — A 23-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant out of Multnomah County in the first block of North Main Street. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. Monday, 8:26 p.m. — Police investigated a non-injury motor vehicle crash in the 100 block of South Laurel Street. Monday 8:32 p.m. — A 24-year-old woman was arrested on charges of interfering with a police officer, resisting arrest and two charges of assault on a police officer in the 200 block of West Hersey Street. During the incident, a 22-year-old man was also arrested on a charge of misuse of 911. They were both lodged at jail.   By Daily Tidings staff reports.
