As a senior citizen, I have derived a feeling of security and peace of mind with Dr. Bates serving as our representative in Salem. I know that he is looking out for us and doing it competently and without concern for the popularity of his position. As we age we are not always as able to be active and speak up for ourselves, and I appreciate the fact that Alan Bates has the willingness and concern to do this for us. Please vote for Dr. Bates; we need his advocacy. He is energetic, vibrant, and clear thinking. He has the talent necessary to convince others about what is the right thing to do.
