Remember: My own past letter on this issue ran in the Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003 Tidings, "Lawmakers keep piling onto deficits despite promises." Nonetheless, the debt issue aside, I party company with Sister Molly. Her column parrots an incorrigible, unrepentant, "hard core" Democratic Party demagogue! The problem which chronically plaques our nation is the corrupt and destructive "two party system." It's obvious nothing will change and improve in Washington, D.C. and in state houses, while the Republicans and Democrats "The Republicrats" both run the show. No: Americans cannot afford the continued monopoly of this socialist "two party" system. With each passing year it becomes more difficult to differentiate between the "D's" and the "R's." I think you'll agree too, reforming either party is plain foolish and hopeless. So, rather than rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic, we simply must commit ourselves to a new and seaworthy vessel. The Constitution Party is that vessel, and with your help, support, and cooperation, we can sail to victory. Too, we can reclaim our constitutional republic and eager, Beaver state.
