--> --> Siskiyou redesign contract awarded Ashland Daily Tidings The final engineering design for the Siskiyou Boulevard redesign project has been awarded to Beaverton-based W&H Pacific, which estimated the design cost at $269,647. W&H will create drawings and specifications as it evaluates the recommendation from the recently completed Siskiyou Boulevard conceptual plan which suggests reducing travel lanes from five lanes to three lanes on the boulevard between Ashland Street and Walker Avenue. The group will look at changes to traffic flows on Gresham Street, Third Street, Lithia Way and the Main Street intersection. Priorities include traffic engineering and safety, pedestrian safety and landscaping. Construction is slated for spring 2002. Email your...
