--> --> Historic home will be moved Ashland Daily Tidings A piece of Ashland's history on Granite Street will indeed be saved. Laura Shrewsbury of Ashland produced papers Saturday showing she and her husband, in fact, own an historic house at 99 Granite St. and plan to relocate the building inside the Skidmore Academy Historic District. The Tidings erroneously reported Friday the house was likely to be demolished. The owner of the property, Luisa Spadini, sold the small house to the Shrewsburys for $1 on Nov. 27 with the stipulation that it be moved. Laura Shrewsbury said the couple has already contacted a house moving company in the Rogue Valley and will relocate the 1880s Daley House sometime soon. "The house is a treasure.
