As if Giant People wasn't enough, they are bringing with them Starr Cullars of P-Funk fame, and word is that other P-Funk members (including their current guitarist) are going to be at the show too. The band has garnered rave reviews, including: o Summit Daily News, January 2002 - "Washington and his band Giant People have faithfully furthered the cause of Southern California's post-acid jazz scene, a James Brown funk-inspired world that begins with the Greyboy All Stars and leads straight to Washington." o The Idaho Statesman, November 2001 - "Carlos Washington and Giant People fuses world music, pop and jazz into a booty-shaking hybrid.
