The “Restaurant Impossible” episode about Ashland’s quirky, now-closed Mystic Treats restaurant premiered Wednesday evening. The $10,000, 48-hour makeover filmed in late October. The restaurant closed around the first of December. Owners Erika and Michael Lowe complained of rent increases and a bad location. They lowered prices but it was not enough to do the trick. Erika Lowe said they were not able to meet new rent levels so the shop and its contents were padlocked by owners.
