Cash Ridley Perrine Cash Ridley Perrine of Bend died Sept. 13 of natural causes. He was 71. Mr. Perrine was born April 28, 1932 in Ashland to Cash R. and Hazel Perrine. He attended Ashland schools and grew up helping his father in Perrine's store on the Plaza and fishing in Ashland Creek behind the store. He graduated from AHS in 1950. His father was also an AHS graduate, coming to Ashland in 1910. Mr. Perrine served in the military, including 17 months in Munich, Germany. He married Mary Hillberry Jan. 20, 1954 in Ashland. She survives and lives in Bend. After graduating from Willamette University Law School in 1958, Cash moved to Bend with his family and started a private law practice that continued until his retirement. He was municipal judge for Bend and city attorney for Sisters. He was a member of the Central Oregon Bar Association and Bend Elks Lodge, serving as Exalted Ruler in 1966-67. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and photography. Survivors include three sons, Brian and Dave, both of Bend and Dena, of Danville, Calif.; two daughters, Tina of Tigard and Lisa Edwards of Renton, Wash.; a sister, Colette Donahue of Ashland, and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 120 Wall Street, 19th floor, New York, N.Y. 10005-4001.
