Monday, 10:53 p.m. — A 25-year-old man was cited and released for criminal trespass after he was found allegedly camping illegally in the 500 block of East Main Street. Monday, 12:47 p.m. — Ashland police, Ashland Fire & Rescue and Southern Oregon University campus security responded to the college's McLaughlin Hall for a reported suicidal male. The man was transported to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center for treatment on a mental health hold. Monday, 1:51 p.m. — An abandoned vehicle in the 700 block of Jefferson Avenue was towed. Monday, 2:02 p.m. — Ashland police responded to a reported restraining order violation in the 1100 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Monday, 3:19 p.m. — Ashland police responded to a reported identity theft in the 500 block of Granite Street. Monday, 5:04 p.m. — A 68-year-old man was cited and released on second-degree theft in the 100 block of North Second Street. Monday, 7:07 p.m. — A 32-year-old man was cited for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol in the 500 block of Clover Lane and released to a sober adult.
