Friday, 3:44 p.m. — A 23-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of shoplifting at Market of Choice in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. She additionally was arrested on a warrant for shoplifting, and was lodged at Jackson County Jail. Friday, 7:23 p.m. — A 26-year-old man was arrested on an Ashland warrant charging failure to appear on a charge of third-degree theft in the 200 block of B Street. He was also arrested on probation violation charging violation of a no-alcohol clause. Friday, 10:59 p.m. — A 42-year-old man was arrested on charges of first-degree theft after he was suspected of stealing a bicycle in the area of Siskiyou Boulevard and Avery Street. Saturday, 4:59 a.m. — Police responded to a false alarm at a building following a trespass in the 300 block of South Pioneer Street. Saturday, 3:39 p.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on a charge of furnishing alcohol to a minor, and a male juvenile was cited on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol in the first block of South Pioneer Street. Saturday, 11:00 p.m. — A 22-year-old man was arrested on a warrant following a stop in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. Sunday, 2:12 a.m. — A 30-year-old man was arrested on a charge of first-degree theft in the 100 block of East Main Street. He was lodged at jail. Sunday, 11:04 a.m. — A 35-year-old man was arrested on a charge of failure to perform duties of a driver after he was suspected of hit-and-run in the area of North Main and Granite streets. Sunday, 1:26 p.m. — A theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Bridge Street. Sunday, 7:46 p.m. — A 26-year-old man was arrested on a charge of DUII following a report of hit-and-run in the first block of Granite Street. Monday, 11:58 a.m. — A 36-year-old man was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree assault in the 500 block of Clover Lane. Monday, 4:44 p.m. — Police responded to a report of trespassing in the 1700 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Monday, 5:20 p.m. — Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 100 block of Alida Street. Monday, 6:22 p.m. — An 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were each cited on charges of minor in possession of alcohol at the Bill Patton Gardens in the first block of South Pioneer Street. (Tuesday reports were published previously) Wednesday, 8:18 a.m. — An electric bike was reported stolen in the 1600 block of Ashland Street. Wednesday, 10:51 a.m. — Police investigated a sudden death in the 2300 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. There was no evidence of criminal activity. Wednesday, 11:59 a.m. — An identity theft was reported in the Ashland area. Wednesday, 12:25 p.m. — A 14-year-old female juvenile and a 15-year-old female juvenile were cited and released on charges of third-degree theft after they were suspected of shoplifting at the Safeway in the 500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Wednesday, 1:12 p.m. — An abandoned vehicle was impounded in the 500 block of Spring Creek Drive. Wednesday, 1:13 p.m. — A 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested on charges of delivery of MDMA, delivery of MDMA within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession of MDMA.  He was lodged at juvenile detention hall. A 16-year-old male juvenile was cited and released on a charge of possession of MDMA. Wednesday, 3:07 p.m. — A 36-year-old man was arrested on charges of second-degree trespassing, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer at the Southern Oregon University Hannon Library in the 1200 block of Ashland Street. Wednesday, 4:36 p.m. — A 52-year-old man was arrested on a probation violation in the 100 block of East Main Street. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. Thursday, 2:08 a.m. — A 35-year-old man was arrested on a charge of assault after police responded to a report of an argument in the 200 block of Tolman Creek Road.
