Main St. Former mayor Frank Falsarella, along with residents Karen Campbell and Charles Cherry, have all submitted applications to take the positions that opened up when commissioners resigned in August and September. Following the interviews, the commission will hold public hearings for the detailed plans for two planned unit developments: Schmelzer’s Place, a 2-acre, 14-lot subdivision at 501 Hwy. 99, and Camus Court, a 1.4-acre, 18-lot subdivision on the 500 block of Talent Avenue. The commission approved the concept of Schmelzer’s Place in February and Camus Court in July.
