Francis "Curly" H. Anderson The memorial service for Francis "Curly" Anderson will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 27 at Ashland First Baptist Church. Pastor Dwayne Robinson will officiate. Private interment will be in Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland. Mr. Anderson, 89, of Ashland, died Friday, August 22, 2003 at Ashland Community Hospital. Mr. Anderson was born June 13, 1914 in Clayton, N.M. and came to Oregon in 1927. He graduated from Phoenix High School. On October 25, 1936 at Ashland First Baptist Church he married the former Mary Annabelle Voss, who survives. Mr. Anderson was the oldest and longest standing member of Ashland First Baptist Church. He was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, gardening and rock hounding. In 1975 he retired from Boise Cascade. Survivors in addition to his wife Annabelle of Ashland include daughters, Lynnette Anderson of Talent; Nancy Fullington of Portland, Ore.; Jeanne Sorretto of Troutdale, Ore.; son Robert Anderson of Lemon Grove, Calif.; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; he was preceded in death by one son, David Anderson, one granddaughter, Heather Sorretto, three sisters, and three brothers.
