Finding shelter at Trinity Episcopal People seeking shelter gather at Trinity Episcopal Church on Wednesday. Friday Nov 18, 2016 at 7:21 PM Nov 18, 2016 at 7:21 PM Trinity Episcopal Church on Second Street in Ashland hosted its first shelter program evening of the season on Wednesday, Nov. 16. About 30 people showed up at Trinity for a simple meal and place to sleep. The homeless in Ashland can find a place indoors on Mondays at First Presbyterian Church at the corner of Siskiyou and Walker; on Tuesdays at Pioneer Hall, 73 Winburn Way; on Wednesdays at Trinity, 44 N. Second St.; and on Thursdays at Pioneer Hall again, the street from Lithia Park. There's no shelter service available in Ashland Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, unless the temperature drops to 20 or below, in which case the city opens an emergency shelter. Photos by James Jarrard
