Fifth St., Jacksonville. This year's show includes art by Raye Aubin, Susan Austin, Jennifer Bagwell, Betty Barss, Steve Bennett, Sue Bennett, Peter Coons, Susan DeRosa, Kay Driver, Rick Evans, Kim Faucher, Marilyn Hurst, Laura Kolding, Dolores Ribal, Carolyn Roberts and Jan Weydemeyer. A reception for the artists will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. Exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The Jennifer Scott Trio Canadian vocalist and pianist Jennifer Scott and bassist Rene Worst — along with Ashland guitarist Ed Dunsavage — will perform an eclectic mix of original music, pop and jazz standards at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at Paschal Winery, 1122 Suncrest Road, Talent. Look for interpretations of music by Thelonius Mond, Chick Corea, Stevie Wonder and Leonard Cohen, along with Brazilian jazz by composers Antonio Carlos Jobim and Luiz Bonfa. Tickets are $25, $10 for students, and can be reserved by emailing [email protected] or by calling 541-488-3869. Children's Concert Britt Orchestra's oboe section, led by principal player Joey Salvalaggio, will present "When Giant Babies Attack"  with excerpts from Edvard Grieg's "Peer Gynt" and "In the Hall of the Mountain King," Modest Petrovich  Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain," Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries," Pyotr Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Snowflakes" from The Nutcracker Suite, Brahms' "Lullaby" and more at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the Britt Performance Garden, 350 First St., Jacksonville. The program is suitable for ages 4 through 9. Admission is free.  Hannah Addario-Berry The San Francisco cellist, producer and educator will present "Scordatura," a showcase of Zoltan Kodaly’s Sonata for Solo Cello, written in 1915, along with new works by young composers Lisa Renée Coons, Brent Miller, Eric K.M. Clark and Alisa Rose, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Unitarian Fellowship, 87 Fourth St., Ashland. The composers' solo cello works are inspired by Kodaly's sonata and use altered tuning, lowering the cello's lower string to deepen the tone. The Ashland show is part of a U.S. and Canadian tour. Broadway Phil & the Shouters The Shouters — singer and harmonica player Phil Newton, guitarist Dave Day, drummer  David Mathieu, bassist Gary Davis and guitarist Jake Thompson — will play West Coast blues, R&B and roots rock at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Pear Blossom Park, 312 E. Fourth St., Medford. Look for original music penned by Newton from the band's albums, along with covers of music by Howlin' Wolf, Wilson Pickett, B.B.
