If you haven’t voted in the last two federal elections (Nov. 2012 and Nov. 2014), you need to re-register. Last day to register: Oct. 18. To register online, you’ll need an Oregon driver’s license or ID card. Again, search on the words “Oregon register to vote” for more info. To register in person, visit a DMV Office or a county clerk’s office (addresses below). DMVs: In Medford, 987 Center Drive, Medford. In Ashland, 600 Tolman Creek Road, Ashland. For hours, and for locations in other communities, visit online at www.dmv.org/or-oregon. Acceptable forms of ID and proof of residency are also detailed at the website. Voters’ pamphlets are mailed in the first week of October The election offices mail ballots to out-of-state voters on Oct. 10, and to voters within Oregon beginning on Oct. 19. Election Day: Ballot drop sites accept ballots from Oct. 24 until 8 p.m. Nov. 8. Jackson County ballot drop sites accept ballots 24 hours daily from Oct. 24 until 8 p.m. Nov. 8 at: • Jackson Co.
