He was stopped for riding his skateboard in the street, Siskiyou Boulevard at Water Street. Saturday 11:30 p.m. — Keys, Calif., man, 21, cited for trespassing, Lithia Way at Pioneer Street. The man was found camping in an shed at the old Copeland Lumber Yard. Saturday 10:51 p.m. — Beer bottle thrown against front window at Varsity Theater, causing minor damage, 100 block of East Main Street. Saturday 7:37 p.m. — Man unable to care for himself taken into protective custody, Lithia Park playground. Saturday 7:18 p.m. — Man too intoxicated to care for himself taken to Medford detox, East Main and Pioneer Streets. Saturday 6:12 p.m. — Ashland man, 49, and Oklahoma City man, 26, cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, Lithia Park near the tennis courts. Saturday 9:44 a.m. — Right rear window broken and several items stolen from parked vehicle, 400 block of Bridge Street. A radar detector ($120 value), 40 CDs ($500) and Ray Ban sunglasses ($100) were stolen between 10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday. Saturday 8 a.m. — Transient man, 26, cited for prohibited camping, 00 block of Winburn Way. Saturday 4:38 a.m. — Ashland man, 21, and Medford man, 22, broke into an apartment, 100 block of Fifth Street. They stole two bottles of beer ($4 value) and a pillow. Both were arrested for trespassing. Friday 11 p.m. — A small amount of marijuana seized, Strawberry Lane at Westwood Street. Friday 7:51 p.m. — Beaverton man, 48, reported his checkbook stolen around 5 p.m., 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Friday 7:10 p.m. — Ashland woman, 40, arrested for DUII-alcohol and prescription drugs, Avery and Lee streets. She was taken to Jackson County Jail. Friday 2:45 p.m. — Two sleeping bags, a pad and a pillow found in two storage sheds at the Community Garden, 00 block West Hersey Street. Friday 1:54 p.m. — Ashland man, 19, cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, Clay Street Park. Friday 1:11 p.m. — A 13-year-old boy cited for assault and harassment at Ashland Middle School, 100 block of Walker Avenue. The boy hit another 13-year-old boy in the face twice; he was released to his father. Talent Police Saturday 9:23 p.m. — Portland man, 33, arrested for possession of cocaine, Talent Avenue at Gangess Drive. He was taken to Jackson County Jail. Oregon State Police Thursday 2:15 p.m. — Stayton man, 21, cited for following too close and driving without insurance on Interstate 5 northbound at milepost 19. The man rear-ended a Central Point boy, 17, in the construction zone.
