--> --> DECA gathering backpacks for needy children Ashland Daily Tidings The Ashland High School DECA club is launching the "Pack it Back" campaign, which aims to collect backpacks for underprivileged children throughout the Rogue Valley. The project began with a student at Wilson Elementary in Medford who began to collect bags and backpacks from her friends for donation. AHS's DECA chapter decided to join the effort by setting up drop-off spots at the Crater Lake Highway Fred Meyer and at AHS. Other drop-off spots include; the south Fred Meyer, Medford's Grocery Outlet, and Ray's Food Place in Phoenix. Bags, and backpacks will be collected through the Thanksgiving weekend, after which, they will be cleaned and filled with school supplies to give to students in need. Email your...
