--> --> Lights for Life tree illumination set Ashland Daily Tidings TALENT - City officials will arrive at the Talent Community Center early Wednesday night to take part in the Lights for Life tree lighting ceremony prior to the city council meeting. Mayor Marian Telerski will do the honor of lighting the Christmas tree in front of the community hall, decorated with a variety of lights - each representing a monetary donation by area residents. The funds raised go to the Ashland Community Hospital's fund-raising campaign to purchase a new MRI machine. A similar tree is also located in downtown Ashland. The combined goal of for the two cities is $35,000. Telerski will be lighting the tree at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, before the Talent City Council meets at 6:45 p.m. at the Talent Community Hall, 206 E.
