Ashland Police and Fire 1:49 a.m. Friday - Unknown person or persons entered unlocked vehicle and stole miscellaneous items valued at $973, at 400 block Ray Lane. 1:31 a.m. Friday - Ashland male, 31, cited and released for DUII following a traffic stop, East Main and First streets. 3:30 p.m. Thursday - Purse stolen from unlocked vehicle, 500 block Y.M.C.A. Way. Purse and contents valued at $51. 12:25 p.m. Thursday - Adult male cited for disorderly conduct and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after creating a disturbance and alarming people at East Main and Pioneer streets. Subject waved his fists, yelled obscenities, ran through traffic and was later found hiding in his car in Lithia Park. 9:06 a.m. Thursday - Transient male, 19, arrested on a warrant after being contacted for skateboarding in a prohibited area, East Main and Pioneer streets. Subject lodged in Jackson County Jail. 7:19 a.m. Thursday - Male transient, 22, and female transient, 26, cited and released for trespassing, 00 block Winburn Way. 6:39 a.m. Thursday - Three light covers found broken at playground in Lithia Park. Estimated value: $60.
