Massie's 14 — Names Read Into the Congressional Record

Epstein Massie Names

Lesley Groff

Document text

Being named is not a finding of wrongdoing. This page documents that a person was named — by Rep. Massie or in the sources cited below — not that any allegation against them has been proven. Several people in this collection deny wrongdoing, have not been charged with a crime, or (per available reporting) have no documented connection at all. Read the citations, not just the headline.

Lesley Groff

Named by Rep. Thomas Massie among 14 people in an Aug. 31, 2026 House floor speech on Jeffrey Epstein — see Massie's 14. Naming is not a charge; see that page for what the speech does and doesn't establish.

What's documented

Lesley Groff served as Jeffrey Epstein's executive assistant and office manager for nearly two decades, from 2001 until his 2019 arrest, managing his schedule, communications, and travel arrangements (Connections of Jeffrey Epstein — Wikipedia). She was named as a potential co-conspirator in Epstein's controversial 2007–08 non-prosecution agreement, alongside Sarah Kellen and Adriana Ross, and was not charged (Litigation involving Jeffrey Epstein — Wikipedia).

Groff testified before the House Oversight Committee on June 9, 2026, saying she had no knowledge of Epstein's crimes, never met the women for whom she arranged appointments, and was unaware of their ages; she described Epstein as a "master manipulator" and herself as a "clueless subordinate" (The Guardian). CNN subsequently reported that six survivors disputed her account, saying they met Groff in person and received cash payments from her directly, and that she asked about the ages of new women brought into Epstein's circle; four of the survivors agreed to be named in CNN's reporting (CNN).

Groff has not been charged with a crime. The direct conflict between her sworn testimony and the survivors' on-the-record accounts is unresolved in available reporting — this entry presents both rather than adopting either. [VERIFY: figures describing how many times Groff's name appears in DOJ records, and a specific flight count alongside Ghislaine Maxwell, come from a single tracker source not corroborated here.]
