Tom Pritzker, executive chairman of Hyatt Hotels and a cousin of Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, has publicly and repeatedly denied an allegation from Virginia Giuffre that he was one of the men to whom she was trafficked. Giuffre's deposition referenced an unnamed "large hotel chain owner" in France where she said she was directed by Ghislaine Maxwell into an encounter; it did not name Pritzker directly. Pritzker's spokesperson called the claim "the same false and isolated allegation" that had already been "published and vehemently denied" years earlier (Newsweek).
