[:::::::::] and previously provided to New York determined the Al Madina
Mosque is owned by a wealthy Saudi,| L
EUh;X¬ The Al Madina Mosque is also known as the Kurdish
Community slamic Center. It is frequented primarily by El Cajons
Kurdish community. In addition to its connections[::::::::::::::::]
however, information obtained during a recent interview has indicated the
mosque was approached by individuals affiliated with the AlHaramanian
Islamic Foundation who offered to manage and financially support the
mosque in exchange for being able to open an office and exert
control. The Alaramanian Islamic Foundation is a Saudi based and funded
~ humanitarian organization alleged to be affiliated with Osama bin *
Laden&#39;s AlQaeda network. The offer was not accepted by the members
of the mosque and no further contact with the Alaramanian Islamic
I Foundation has been identified.
