Washington archdioscesan weekly newspaper. A brief sermon
the seminary, was an attorney in the Internal Security
Division of the Department of Justice.% will be delivered by Father 0'DONNELL who, before entering

Massure its success. To make the Breakfast available to as
__ many FBI people as possible, Mr. MACK personally arranged for
~the unit cost of $3.50, including gratuities and taxes, which%§;§~~i+=?is approximately one dollar less than the normal price for "

Since submission of referenced memorandum, VINCE
b LOMBARDI has been named executive vice president and coach
of the Washington Redskins, an appointment widely acclaimed
throughout
to as "Mr.the Washington area. LOMBARDI, frequently referred
Professional Football," is an outstanding Catholic
layman and public figure. He is a 1937 graduate of Fordham
University where despite his small physical stature, he became
one of thefamed "seven blocks of granite." He later coached
Army football at West Point, the New York Giants and, more
recently, enjoyed unprecedented success as coach of the Green Bay
Packers. He is a member of the Board of Directors and the
University Council of Fordham. The Milwaukee Office has enjoyed
excellent relations with LOMBARDI, who is known to greatly
admire the Director and the Bureau. His key to success is his
" insistcnce that people working for him make a tota1'bommitment
» to excellence."

On Sunday, 5/4/69, the 20th Annual Communion Breakfast
was held in the main ballroom of the Mayflower Hotel, Washington,
D.C. Approximately 700 Bureau employees, their families and A
_ friendsggttended EH1: function which had as its guest speakerCOMMUN ION BREAKFAST

t'¬"breakfast andlwas celebrated in St. Ma thew's Cathedral byFather WILLIAM §T QLg§HNELL. Bishop JOHN §:*i{ENCE presided in *fhe absence of RAIRI Cardinal 0'BOYLE who unexpectedly could If
not return from Rome in time to personally preside as he had lg,

~ At the breakfast Mr. IDMBARDI delivered an inspiring
speech wherein.he decried the violent anarchism and lawlessness
in our society. He further exhorted all to comit themselves to
the achievement of excellence in all their endeavors. His talk
in which he referred in a most complimentary manner to the Bureau
and the Director, was enthusiastically received by those inattendance. ~ A , I "
