Czechoslovakians; did not sell arms to the Germans and Japanese and _

He further stated that he knew that the Soviet Union was the
only country in which equality of the nationalities was not an empty
phrase but a standard followed in actual life.

The Jewish Council for Russian Var elief had asked that the
Soviet Government approve a memorandum setting out a PTPJBTL of work
to help in rebuilding some sections in the Soviet Union which H918
liberated by the Red Army and had e substantial Jewish population.
According to the informant this memorandum had been signed
in the name of the Jewish Council for Fussian War Belief by Professor
EHNSTFIN, HOQ0ruhls Chairman, and other officials of this orpanisaticn.
The Baily Worker dated 2/2a/44 contained an article whichstated in part that seventeen hundred delegates crowded bhnhattan Context
Grand Ballroom on the previous Sunday to watch the 194A campaign of the
Jewish Council for Russian her Relief. According to this article greetings
were sent to this affair by EINSIFIN-and others.
