Friday, 12:17 p.m. — Ashland police took a report of an alleged burglary to a residence at the Stratford Apartments. Friday, 2:24 p.m. — Ashland police took a report of identify theft in the 500 block of Altamont Street. The suspect used the victim’s identity to open a Verizon account. Friday, 3:29 p.m. — Ashland police arrested a man on the charge of persistent violation at the corner of North Main Street and Church Street. Friday, 4:59 p.m. — Ashland police investigated a case of identity theft, the fraudulent use of a credit card and theft II at the corner of Helman Street and North Main Street.
