Felony arrests Drugs — Bryan Anthony Rahn, 34, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Rahn Wednesday on additional felony charges of delivering and possessing heroin. MADGE originally arrested Rahn July 25 for violating his parole on a prior heroin delivery conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail. Weapons — Charles Edward Ganey, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ganey Wednesday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior first-degree theft conviction. He remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Weapons — Bryce Andrew Johnson, 30, of the 1800 block of South Peach Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Johnson Wednesday on felony charges of felon possession of a restricted weapon and possessing methamphetamine, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. He remained lodged in the jail Thursday without bail. Vehicle Theft — Ryan Keith Ashker, 28, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ashker Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He remained lodged in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail. Drugs — Bartell Donovan Jr., 57, of the 500 block of Mountain View Drive, Central Point. On Thursday, Donovan made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Theft — Zachary Tyler Halstead, 24, of the 1100 block of Boundary Road, Grants Pass. On Thursday, Halstead made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Theft — Jayci Nikkia Hoie, 26, of the 200 block of Wedgewood Drive, Eagle Point. On Thursday, Hoie made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance. Hit-and-Run — Braden James Pruett, 26, of the 500 block of Berrydale Avenue, Medford. On Thursday, Pruett made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of hit-and-run to an injured person and hit-and-run property damage. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Robbery — Michael Eugene Gebhart, 51, of the 6400 block of Downing Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Gebhart Thursday on felony charges of second-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $127,500 bail. Drugs — Hector Palacios Ornelas, 51, no known address. Medford police arrested Ornelas Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $12,500 bail. Assault — Roy F. Ramirez, 50, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ramirez Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with fourth-degree assault, and misdemeanor warrants for fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $20,000 bail. Theft — Amber Dawn Freeman, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Freeman Thursday on a felony warrant charging her with first-degree theft and for violating her parole on a prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail. Crime reports Theft — 900 block of Reddy Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen wooden bench at 9:26 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $75. Theft — 2500 block of Country Club Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen 19-inch Dell laptop at 9:27 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $800. Theft — 200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen LG G6 smartphone at 9:33 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $573. Theft — 1500 block of Jasper Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a Milwaukee cordless drill and a Makita drill bit set. The loss was valued at $225. Vandalism — 2200 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle’s interior and stolen vehicle paperwork at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $500. Burglary — 1700 block of Louise Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a gold Bulova watch, a black Citizen watch with diamonds on it, a pink Michael Kors watch, a black and brown Coach purse, a blue and white iPod touch in a red case and a Black Nintendo WiiU controller. The loss was valued at $1,550. Theft — 1000 block of Welcome Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 2:02 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a red 2200 watt Honda generator and a green cash box with a “Samaritan’s Purse” logo. The loss was valued at $1,050. Theft — 2500 block of Paloma Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 6:31 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a fishing tackle box, two fishing poles, a black backpack containing clothing, a purse, children’s items, a bank card and a Social Security card. The loss was valued at $392. Vandalism — 2200 block of BIddle Road. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 9:08 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle’s back door and rear fender were reported damaged. The loss was valued at $800. Theft — 2000 block of Hospitality Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:47 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included miscellaneous collectible coins and bills. The loss was valued at $2,500. Vandalism — 400 block of East 12th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vandalized window at 11:58 a.m. Thursday. The damage was valued at $1,000.
