About two dozen employees of the plant at 8250 Agate Road were evacuated after smoke and flames erupted, said Chris Winney, Fire District 3 training officer. "There was heavy fire on the roof and in the vent system," said Winney, who added that it took seven units and 20 minutes to douse the flames. Damage to the plant was minimal, although no value had been determined pending investigation, Winney said. Felony arrests Theft — Robert Allen Galligan, 35, no address. Medford police arrested Galligan Sunday on charges of first- and second-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $205,000 bail. Assault — Stephen Wayne Cooper, 40, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Cooper Saturday on one charge of felony fourth-degree assault, one charge of fourth-degree assault and a charge of harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $12,000 bail.
