Medford police Thursday arrested Alvarez on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked at the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance. Robbery — Andrew Kye Urenda, 28, of the 900 block of Broadway Street, Rogue River. Rogue River police Thursday arrested Urenda on a felony charge of third-degree robbery and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was lodged Thursday at jail and held on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Robert William Schmoll, 29, of the first block of East South Stage Road, Medford. Medford police Friday arrested Schmoll on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was lodged in jail Friday and held without bail. Possession of a Stolen Vehicle — Frederick Charles West, 38, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested West on felony charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and attempt to elude police in a vehicle, and misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a weapon, failure to perform the duties of a driver, attempt to elude police on foot, reckless driving and criminal driving while suspended. He was lodged in jail Friday and held without bail. Court Appearance — Cody William Maudlin, 30, of the 800 block of Park Avenue, Medford. On Friday, Maudlin made his initial court appearance on felony charges of methamphetamine possession and distribution. He was booked at the jail and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance —Glenn Douglas Abney, Jr., 21, no known address. On Friday, Abney made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of heroin possession. He was lodged in jail Friday and held on $5,000 bail. Elude — Donovan Wayne Satterfield, 25, of the 5100 block of Peace Lane, Central Point. Central Point police Friday arrested Satterfield on a felony charge of attempt to elude police in a vehicle, and a misdemeanor charge of attempt to elude on foot. He was lodged in jail Friday, and held on $8,000 bail. Court Appearance — Scott Kenneth Wille, 37, of the 1700 block of Estate Drive, Eugene. On Friday, Wille made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked at the jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — James Corey Prince, 42, of the 2300 block of Sterns Way, Medford. Medford police Friday arrested Prince on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked at the jail and released on his own recognizance. Burglary — Connor James Holland, 23, of the first block of South Buchanan Avenue, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police Friday arrested Holland on felony charges of first-degree burglary, attempted first-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of first- and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Friday and held on $88,000 bail. Theft — Katrina Joe Ewing, 22, of the first block of South Peach Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Friday arrested Ewing on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail, and released on her own recognizance. Robbery — Kevin Patrick Smith, 25, of the 6300 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Friday arrested Smith on a felony charge of third-degree robbery. He was lodged in jail Friday, and held without bail. Drugs — Ismael Garcia-Nava, Jr., 21, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Garcia-Nava on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to a police officer, and parole violations for previous charges of methamphetamine distribution and weapon use. He was lodged in jail Friday and held without bail. Crime reports Theft — Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 8:55 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Florence Avenue. Items reported stolen included a Springfield Armory XD40SW gun, Dell Latitude E5420 laptop computer with Intel Core i5 processor, HP EliteBook convertible laptop/tablet computer with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Samsung Galaxy Note 8-inch tablet, Beltronics RX65 radar detector and Makita cordless drill. The loss was valued at $2,140.
