A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Pritchett on charges of fourth-degree assault and strangulation. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $9,000 bail. Drugs — Crystal Lee Christensen, 20, of the 500 block of Effie Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Christensen on charges of methamphetamine possession and endangering the welfare of a minor. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Wednesday on $9,000 bail. Drugs — Jody Lyn Paauwe, 30, of the 500 block of South Fourth Street, Central Point. A Central Point police officer Wednesday arrested Paauwe on a charge of methamphetamine possession. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Wednesday on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Eric James Brown, 38, of the 700 block of Silver Creek Road, Central Point. A Central Point police officer Wednesday arrested Brown on charges of delivering, manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine, and endangering the welfare of a minor. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $20,000 bail. Crime reports Burglary — 400 block of South Ivy Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a garage and stole a mountain bike valued at $600. Theft — 200 block of North Holly Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report of a theft in which a mountain bike valued at $800 was stolen from a business. Advertisement Vehicle theft — 2600 block of Falcon Street, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday took a report of a theft in which a blue Chevrolet pickup, Oregon license plate VEQ 961, was stolen. Miscellaneous House fire cause — Medford fire investigators believe a fire that significantly damaged a house in the 300 block of Benson Street last weekend sparked in a clothes dryer. After three days of investigation, investigators announced the fire most likely started when lint in a dryer vent ignited, said Randy Cooper, fire investigator with the Medford fire department. Firefighters went to the house at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday, and found flames coming from the roof. A family of three who rents the home was able to flee the residence, but lost all of their possessions, Cooper said.
