Emergency Services, July 20 By Mail Tribune staff Jul 20, 2022 12:00 AM A A Felony arrests Theft Conspiracy — Justin Charles-Delmer Blake, 40, of the 11800 block of Dead Indian Memorial Road, Ashland. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Blake Friday on felony charges of conspiring to commit aggravated first-degree theft, conspiring to commit second-degree burglary, aggravated first-degree theft and first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and was no longer an inmate as of Tuesday. Burglary Conspiracy — Tyler Anthony Boyd, 44, of the 500 block of Experiment Station Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Boyd Friday on felony charges of conspiring to commit aggravated first-degree theft, conspiring to commit second-degree burglary, aggravated first-degree theft, second-degree burglary, unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, and misdemeanor charges of possessing burglary tools and second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday. Arson — Michael David Chavez, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Chavez Friday on a felony charge of second-degree arson and misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was additionally lodged Monday on misdemeanor counts of first-degree animal neglect, animal abandonment, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and hit-and-run property damage. He was held in jail Tuesday on $61,000 bail. Impaired Driving — Jacob Bruce Odell, 43, of the 200 block of Singing Grass Drive, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Odell Friday on a felony charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday. Assault — Jose Antonio Marrero Delgado, 44, of the 800 block of Taylor Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Marrero Delgado Saturday on felony charges of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, and on a Medford municipal warrant for failing to appear in court on a second-degree trespassing charge. He was held in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail. Forgery — Pete Anthony Alvarado, 40, of the 2700 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Alvarado Sunday on a felony charge of first-degree possessing a forged instrument and a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was booked in the jail and released Sunday on his own recognizance. Burglary — Roy Gene Bennett, 60, of the 2600 block of Connell Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Bennett Sunday on felony warrants charging him with second-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Sunday on his own recognizance. Vehicle Theft — Julie L. Davis, 50, of Knoxville, Tennessee. Medford police arrested Davis Sunday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on an out-of-county warrant. She was booked in the jail Sunday and was no longer an inmate as of Tuesday. Identity Theft — Matthew John Delco, 44, of the 700 block of Welch Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Delco Sunday on a felony warrant charging him with identity theft and a warrant on misdemeanor counts unlawfully possessing methamphetamine, providing false information to police, contempt of court and for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and unlawfully possessing heroin. He was booked in the jail Sunday and released Monday on his own recognizance. Sex Offender — Travis Dale Penninger, 39, of the 300 block of Freeman Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Penninger Sunday on a felony charge of failing to report as a sex offender, a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor warrant for driving while suspended, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of third-degree theft and for violating his parole on a prior third-degree robbery conviction. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail. Assault — Matthew Ed Punimata Shanahan, 31, of the 1700 block of Concord Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Shanahan Sunday on a felony charge of first-degree assault and two misdemeanor counts of second-degree assault. He was held in jail Tuesday on $100,000 bail. Attempted Murder — Douglas Brinton Walker, 64, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Walker Sunday on felony charges of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. He was held in jail Tuesday on $250,000 bail. Vehicle Theft — Jesse Leroy White, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested White Sunday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and identity theft, and on misdemeanor counts of second-degree forgery, second-degree theft and unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon. He was booked in the jail Sunday and was no longer an inmate as of Tuesday. Vehicle Theft — Jorge Cabrera, 28, no known address. Ashland police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cabrera Monday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, on a felony warrant charging him with separate counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle and for failing to appear in court on a prior vehicle theft charge. He was booked in the jail and released Monday on his own recognizance. Perjury — Peter Thomas Harrell, 57, no known address. Medford police arrested Harrell Monday on a warrant charging him with a felony count of perjury and a misdemeanor charge of false swearing. He was booked in the jail Monday and was no longer an inmate as of Tuesday. Assault — Rosalio Nicholas Smith, 18, of the 4400 block of Hislinger Road, Phoenix. Central Point police arrested Smith Monday on felony charges of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. He was held in jail Tuesday on $100,000 bail.
