Northbound traffic on I-5 through Medford jammed by crash MailTribune.com Writer Posted Sep. 28, 2015 @ 5:13 pm Posted Sep. 28, 2015 @ 5:13 pm » Social News p bs:newslist StartDate="20121121" EndDate="p bs:datecalc Months="3"" DateSort="1" UseObjects="1" ObjectClass="81" Taxonomywords="2325,665" ExactTaxonomyMatch="1" Image="1" Count="4" --> Medford commuters and others who head north through town on Interstate 5 should look for alternate routes today because of a traffic snarl in the northbound lanes caused this afternoon by a one-car crash, authorities said. The crash shortly before 4:30 p.m. near milepost 28 blocked one of the northbound lanes for more than 20 minutes, causing police to route traffic through one open lane and backing traffic up to northbound I-5's exit 27, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation. Traffic was still backed up at 5:10 p.m. "This time of day, things can get really knotted up," ODOT spokesman Gary Leaming says. Details of the crash were not immediately available from Oregon State Police. Leaming expects northbound traffic delays between Medford's two exits until about 5:30 p.m. — Mark Freeman MailTribune.com Writer Posted Sep. 28, 2015 @ 5:13 pm » Comment or view comments /* $( document ).ready(function() { // Jquery mobile is trying to style the button and leaving a blank gry button on top of a white button $("#viafouracoms .vf-comment-controls li.vf-right").html(' Submit '); });*/ » STAY INFORMED Email NewsLetter Sign Up Today Sign up for our newsletter and have the top headlines from your community delivered right to your inbox. calendar Connect with MailTribune.com Facebook Twitter RSS Back to top Reader Services Reader Services Home Subscriptions Subscriber controls Contact us Submissions Photos Events Letters to the editor Corrections Announcements Obituaries Story ideas Since you asked Alerts Email Alerts RSS Feeds Text Alerts Advertise Media Kit Home Products and services Ad rates Advertising contacts Propel Marketing Mail Tribune Daily Tidings The Nickel Shop Our Valley Blogs Mobile Site Stay Informed Email newsletter Sign Up Today Sign up for our newsletter and have the top headlines from your community delivered right to your inbox.
