That’s despite the Tuesday arrest and outstanding indictment of two former agency board members on charges they stole nearly $5,000 from the Central Point organization between April and July. "We’re trying to make sure the organization is stable," said Victoria Cox, spokeswoman for the charitable activities division of the state justice department. Connie Ann Pugh, 40, of Medford, the agency’s former secretary, was released from jail on bail Wednesday, a day after being arrested on first-degree theft. An outstanding indictment remains for former director Jessyca Lucille Baxter, 58, of Eagle Point, although Central Point police now say she’s no longer missing. Advertisement Local law enforcement officials will continue to investigate the agency, Central Point, said Detective Kris Allison. But state officials said no further indictments are planned. "We haven’t seen any evidence that would implicate any other board members," Cox said. Records entered into the national nonprofit data base Guidestar still list Baxter and Pugh as officers. Other listed board members include President Richard Guggenmos, Vice President Tom Lindsey, Treasurer Diana Lucas, and Director Rae Mooring. In 2003, the agency reported annual revenue of $22,734 and expenses of $23,918, according to tax documents. The Gleaning Network Inc. offers memberships to individuals and families who gather fruit, produce and other foods from local gardens and orchards. The agency also runs a thrift store at 211 N. Front St., Central Point.
