Local artist selected for international show Oct 14, 2011 12:00 AM A A Two paintings by Shady Cove artist Linda Curtis were selected to be featured in the Northwest Pastel Society International Exhibit, opening Nov. 12 in Tacoma, Wash. (California artist Clark G. Mitchell was the juror.) Curtis is a member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and a former member of the Oregon Watercolor Society. Her outdoor landscapes reflect her love of nature, especially the Rogue River and the Sky Lakes wilderness, located high in the Cascade mountains.
