Sevcik lifts Panthers to victory COOS BAY � Sky Sevcik registered a pair of singles victories and posted a doubles win as well to pace the South Medford High boys tennis team to non-league wins over Marshfield and North Bend on Wednesday. The wins were the first for the Panthers as a team following an 0-3 start. Sevcik defeated Marshfield�s Rayan Yokym at No. 3 singles 6-3, 6-4 and also won convincingly over North Bend�s Zane Burns 6-2, 6-1. Sevcik teamed with Justin Stevens to pick up a doubles victory against Marshfield. South Medford coach Jackie Barker also praised doubles players Jon Wulff, Jason Cumbie, Don Jeter and Tim Carpenter.
