If Jackson County doesn’t get some help with its budget, there is talk of closing the entire library system for lack of funds. A threat to cut federal aid for timber-dependent counties has put this county in a pinch, officials say. We asked: "If federal aid is reduced, how should Jackson County go about cutting or preserving library services?" Libraries are important to our quality of life.
