Election results due out Friday Those waiting for final official results from Tuesday's special election of education, water, fire and transportation districts -- and a Gold Hill mayor and council member -- will have to wait another day. The county elections division expects to have the results from all ballots returned by sometime Friday. So far, turnout in the election is just under 21 percent. Also, in Wednesday's Mail Tribune, results from the Pinehurst School District Position 3 election were left off the chart showing contested race results. Alison Kling defeated Sherman Peters, 59-23.
