Cuba films explore U.S.-Cuba relations Wednesday Apr 5, 2017 at 12:04 PM Apr 5, 2017 at 12:04 PM A screening of "Curtain of Water," about photographer Joe Guerriero's quest to understand the U.S. commercial and financial blockade of Cuba, is planned at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. Guerriero explores the reasons for the blockade and its effects on ordinary people. See http://www.curtainofwater.com. The evening will include information about the 28th Pastors for Peace Cuba Caravan, a two-week trip to central and eastern Cuba in July. For applications email [email protected]. On Friday, April 21, Manolo De Los Santos of Pastors for Peace New York office will speak at 1 p.m. in the Olsrud Room of the Southern Oregon University Art Building, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland.
