October 31. 2014 2:00AM Jean Ann Haar Jean Ann Haar passed away October 17, 2014 in Carmel, Calif. She was born October 11, 1932 in Owatonna, Minn. to William and Emily Petranek. Jean and Herbert were married May 7, 1960 in Owatonna, Minn. May 7, 1960. Jean was a member of Foots Creek Chapel Church and the Daytimers; she had over 30 years of service with the Disabled Americans Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA) and many years of service volunteering at the White City Domiciliary. Her hobbies were knitting, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Paul O'Donovan of Carmel, Calif.; grandson, Shane and Chelsea Haar; great-grandchildren, Jarod, Kaylee, Makenzie, and Scarlett; granddaughter, Savannah (Nikki) and Andrew Aliotti; and great-grandchildren, Giuseppe and Giovanna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert (Herb) Haar and son, William (Bill) Haar.
