Medford police arrested Nelson Monday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, misdemeanor counts of second-degree theft, interfering with police, resisting arrest, interfering with making a report and harassment, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender and failing to report as a sex offender on his birthday. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and released because of overcrowding. Distributing Drugs — Clint Austin Miles, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Miles Tuesday on felony charges of distributing and possessing methamphetamine, and on out-of-county sanctions charging parole violation on meth possession and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle convictions. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Identity Theft — Guadalupe Castro-Hernandez, 38, of Yuba City, Calif. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Castro-Hernandez Tuesday on felony charges of identity theft and two counts of possessing fictitious identification, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police and on an immigration customs enforcement hold. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released to immigration customs enforcement. Sex Offender Registration — Matthew Jay Prinslow, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Prinslow Tuesday on felony charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender and heroin possession, and for violating his parole on a previous heroin possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Drug Possession — Edward Allen Stachel, 55, of the 900 block of West 11th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Stachel Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and providing false information to police, warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, first-degree trespassing, meth possession, a contempt of court charge and an out-of-county warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous first-degree burglary charge. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $61,000 bail. Drug Possession — Samantha Brooke Tasior, 35, of the 1500 block of Bryant Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Tasior Tuesday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous heroin possession charge. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released. Theft — Jason Charles Hoffmockel, 30, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Hoffmockel Tuesday on two felony warrants charging first-degree theft, three misdemeanor warrants charging second-degree theft, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Crime report Theft — Medford police took a report of a stolen necklace at 12:17 p.m. Monday in the 2200 block of College Way. The piece of jewelry was described as having white gold and a half-carat diamond. The loss was valued at $1,395. Burglary — Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of West 10th Street. Items reported stolen included miscellaneous tools including a propane torch. The loss and damage to the door frame and track was valued at $3,583.
