A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Friday arrested Powers on charges of possession of amphetamines, carrying a concealed firearm and warrants charging her with failure to appear in court. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained late Friday on $23,000 bail. Identity theft — Chelsa Roberta Giannini, 28, of the 5200 block of Crowfoot Road, Trail. A sheriff’s deputy Friday arrested Giannini on charges of identity theft, second- degree forgery, second-degree theft, negotiating a bad check and failure to pay fines. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Friday on $28,000 bail. Witness tampering — Jeffrey James Torrey, 27, of Milwaukie. A Central Point police officer Friday arrested Torrey on two counts of second-degree forgery, tampering with a witness and second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Friday on $25,000 bail. Burglary — Mollie Ruth Wilder Ashby, 30, of the 500 block of Church Street, Phoenix. Ashby appeared Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault. She was booked into jail then released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Carey Tutson, 69, of San Leandro, Calif. Tutson appeared Friday in Circuit Court on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance. Drugs, sex offender — Patrick John Keever, 39, no known address. A Medford police officer late Thursday arrested Keever on charges of possession of amphetamines, delivering amphetamines, manufacturing amphetamines, and failure to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Friday on $120,000 bail. Drugs — Staci Lynn Grace, 26, of the 1000 block of Narregan Street, Medford. A Medford police officer late Thursday arrested Grace on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding.
