Juniors Beaver and Otter led the Grizzlies to team victories in both the girls and boys giant slalom in the first of six league races. Beaver won the girls race with a combined time for two runs of 1 minute, 56.51 seconds. Kristin Parrish of North Medford finished second at 2:03.88. Wrestling EAGLES SHINE — At Redmond, a half-dozen Eagle Point wrestlers completed the first day of Oregon Wrestling Classic with 3-0 records in dual-meet competition. The Eagles sandwiched wins over Oregon City (63-12) and Southridge (49-21) around a loss to Marshfield (36-32). They can finish as high as seventh in the 32-team field with two consolation-round wins today. For the Eagles, Dennis Clifford (112 pounds), Randy Pershall (125), Jake McCoy (145), Brandon Price (152), Justin Clark (189) and Tyler Cam (heavyweight) all went 3-0. McCoy had two falls, and Cam had two falls and a forfeit. Marcus Wyatt (215) wrestled well for the Eagles, going 2-1.
