Medford man faces additional sexual assault, rape charges A Medford man in jail in connection with an attack on a motel cleaning woman and another woman walking home was charged Thursday in connection with a third assault. David Sebastian Pennisi, 30, on Thursday received added charges of two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of second-degree sexual abuse. He was being held in the Jackson County jail on $3,010,000 bail. The new charges involve a woman who said she was raped twice between December 1998 and May 1999. Pennisi and the woman were both staying at a mental health foster home, police said. Pennisi is also accused of attacking a cleaning woman in May where he was staying at the City Center Motel. About a week before that incident, police say, he accosted a woman who was walking home shortly after midnight near the intersection of Table Rock and Midway roads. Both women were able to fight him off. Mail Tribune Copyright The Mail Tribune 1999, Medford, Oregon USA
